Detroit, Michigan, 1885-1925 <!--mep-nl-->This decoy has a brown top and back with orange glass eyes.There is a white crest under the bill and a white swirl on either side behind the neck. The rear back to tail sports golden feather lines. The underside is a medium beige while the chest has red/brown plume feathering. This is a Mason Standard Grade = plain carving,no head detail,simple paint patterns,generally solid wood. It is in good condition with minor wear. The dimensions are 13"L, 7"H.

Ringbill Drake - Mason Standard Grade

Detroit Michigan, 1885-1925 <!--mep-nl-->This decoy has a dark brown top and back with yellow glass eyes.The bill is grey with a black tip. There is a white horizontal strip across the bill. There is a red ring around the neck.The rear back to tail sports grey feather lines. The underside is a medium beige with grey feather bands on either side. The chest is dark brown ending in a row of plume feathers. This is a Mason Standard Grade = plain carving, no head detail, simple paint patterns, generally solid wood. It is in good condition with minor wear. The dimensions are 14"L,6 1/2"H.

The underside is off white with bands of white,teal and black feather strokes blending into the top grey This is a Mason Standard Grade = plain carving,no head detail,simple paint patterns,generally solid wood. The back is black with feather lines extending to the tail. There are beige wings on each side of the decoy. We are offering a pewter tea pot in original and complete condition. The design is clean with a wooden,painted handle and gooseneck spout. The lid has a flower shaped finial.All welds are sound with intact seams and the pewter has aged to a wonderful patina.The bottom is incised with the number "13" and a maker's mark of "providence". This piece shows honest, minor wear and is in overall very good condition. The dimensions are 9"H,10"W,4 1/4" diameter at the base.

Chamber Stick

We are offering a antique, tin chamberstick with an extra wide base. It has a carry loop on the base side and a height regulator on the stick side. The gray tin has aged to a wonderful patina. The seams and welds are all intact. This piece shows honest, minor wear with minor rust but is in overall good condition. There are few dings and dents that contribute to the charm of this piece. The dimensions are 6"H, 6 1/2" diameter of base.
