Canvas Back Decoy - Mason Standard Grade

Detroit, Michigan, 1885-1925 <!--mep-nl-->This decoy has a black top extending down the back of the head. Both sides of the head are orange/red with black glass eyes. The chest is black and extends around the sides and neck with a plumed edge. the back is a canvas color with black side color and black tail. This decoy is a Mason Standard Grade = plain carving,no head detail,simple paint patterns,generally solid wood. It is in good condition with minor wear. The dimensions are 15"L,6"H.

Blue Bill Drake - Mason Standard Grade

Detroit, Michigan, 1885-1925  This decoy has a blue/black head with a lighter blue bill. The rear back sports feather lines down to the tail. The chest is light beige with a ring of blue plume feather lines. The underside is a light beige color with an beige swirl on either side. This is a Mason Standard Grade = plain carving,no head detail,simple paint patterns,generally solid wood. It is in good condition with minor wear. The dimensions are 14"L,7"H.

We are offering a pewter tea pot in original and complete condition. The design is clean with a wooden,painted handle and gooseneck spout. The lid has a flower shaped finial.All welds are sound with intact seams and the pewter has aged to a wonderful patina.The bottom is incised with the number "13" and a maker's mark of "providence". This piece shows honest, minor wear and is in overall very good condition. The dimensions are 9"H,10"W,4 1/4" diameter at the base.
