Offering a delightful quilt pattern, "Primrose Path". Created on handwrought paper, this piece measures 16.5" x 13.5 and 14 X 17 with frame". It is accentuated by a hand wrought sponge painted frame which bring attention to the pattern. It is an original and signed print by the artist Susan Colindres.
This piece is in excellent condition with crisp, bright colors. All seams are tight and back is wired for hanging. It is a lovely piece of "Folk Art" which would enhance any decor.

We are offering a contemporary carved and painted hen walking through the barnyard. The head sports a red crown with light yellow extending to the back feathers.The back feathers are carved in a raised position with red feathering and black tips.The tail joins the side feathers and ends in black. The wings on both sides are extended from the body and painted in red over black feathering. The eyes are black ,circled in red while the beak is yellow mustard. Yellow extends around the sides blending into a yellow-green-white feathered chest. The bird stands on a muted yellow-white-green pedestal. The legs and feet are black / yellow with the feet spayed over the pedestal. The carver belongs to an old order Mennonite Community in Lancaster County. His daughter paints all his carvings while his nieces paint panels and canvases. Each piece is made entirely by hand. Each artist is self taught capturing life on the farm into their works. This piece is in excellent condition. This piece is 10"h and 6" wide.
