White-Winged Scoter
This decoy has a black head,yellow glass eyes with white feather lines and a brown/black painted bill. The breast is black with white feather lines on either side. The back is black to the tail with gold feather lines. The underside is also black. This is a Mason Standard Grade,circa 1910, Back Bay Model Head = plain carving, no head detail, simple paint patterns, solid wood. It is solid, in good condition with minor wear and minor paint loss. The dimensions are 16"L,7"H .

This decoy has a black bill with incised air holes,incised bill at top and end, and brown head with orange glass eyes. It has a black breast with a off white underside. There are black feather lines on either side and wing feathers on the top of white and brown over the black tail. This decoy has plain carving,no head detail, simple paint patterns, generally solid wood. It is an Evans Mammoth Style from Ladysmith, WI. It is in good condition with honest ware and minor paint loss. The dimensions are 18"L and 8"H.

The underside is light brown with off white wing feathers on either side. The back is grey to a black tail with gold feather lines. There is a weight on the bottom and a decoy loop. It is a Mason Over sized Challenge Grade-plain carving, no head detail,simple paint patterns, generally solid wood. It is in good condition with minor wear. The dimensions are 8"H AND 14 1/2"L.

This decoy has a blackhead,grey back extending to black lower black and tail. It has an off white breast with a white swirl on either side of the neck extending up to the head. The underside is off white with wing feathers in a black,white and teal swirl on either side. The rear back to tail sports white feather lines. Offering a Hoosier Cabinet, circa 1900, with the original tag on the top. The tag reads "Hoosier - The kitchen cabinet that saves miles of steps." - The Hoosier Manufacturing Co. New Castle, Indiana. This piece has all original hardware. It is in 2 pieces with a enamel work top, in excellent condition, that slides in/out for use. Side brackets are intact enabling the top to slide. The top has 3 cupboard doors, one houses a flour dispenser/sifter; the other opens to two shelves. The roll top area opens to a cupboard the width of the piece. The bottom has one cupboard door and 3 drawers. The cupboard door opens to a large storage area with two shelves. This piece has clean straight lines extending to a straight apron, straight legs with wheeled feet. This piece is in excellent condition - you will have to look long to find a piece as nice as this. It shows "honest wear" that enhances the overall beauty of the cabinet. Hoosiers are very popular , available in many states of wear - this is a beauty. Cherry Corner Cupboard
Offering a one piece Cherry Corner Cupboard with old,wavy glass. The inside top of the cupboard is painted (white)random width boards. It has plate grooves on both sides of the 4 graduated shelves. The front has two glass doors,eight panes each with old,wavy glass.The two sections are divided by a dovetailed drawer with patch stick detailing on either side. The drawer pull is wood. The cornice of the piece is topped with a straight edge mold and the same patch stick detailing seen on either side of the drawer.The bottom section is a blind cupboard with two fully mortised doors opening to two shelves also painted white. The piece lines extend to a straight apron encasing the entire cupboard. This cupboard is in excellent condition,with tight,sound joints and a rich patina.

CHEDDAR QUILT
We are offering a "Cheddar Quilt" made in Berks County,Pa. The design is dominated by triangular white patches with flower baskets alternating with quilted flower designs on bright "cheddar colored" cotton.The borders are quilted in a swirling design bordering the entire quilt.
The colors are crisp and clean;the stitches are small and tight. There is some oxidation of colors near the flower baskets. This does not detract from the beauty of the quilt but demonstrates the quilt's age.
The size is 72" x 72".

The tail is carved to distinguish the feathers bringing life to the piece. The eyes are black ,circled in white & red while the beak is yellow. Yellow extends around the sides blending into a yellow-green feathered chest. There are yellow-red extended wings on either side merging into the tail. The bird stands on a black pedestal. The legs and feet are yellow with the feet spayed over the pedestal. The piece is signed on the bottom of the pedestal. The carver belongs to an Old Order Mennonite Community in Lancaster County. His daughter paints all his carvings while his nieces paint panels and canvases. Each piece is made entirely by hand. Each artist is self taught capturing life on the farm into their works. This piece is in excellent condition. This piece is 9"H and 9" W.
