The Brownies – Irishman

Inspired by the children's books, The Brownies" by Canadian author and illustrator, Palmer Cox - "The Irishman" is a character in the series. These books were based on traditional English Mythology and Scottish stories told to the author by his grandmother. brownies delighted in harmless pranks and helpful deeds. Their popularity led Kodak's naming the "Brownie Camera" after them. Also they inspired the pre-Girl Scout group (Brownies) who fashioned their uniforms after them. This little fellow is the "Brownie Irishman" who stands 9" tall. he is hand wrought from head to toe with great attention to the original illustrations. He is made of woll and stuffed with saw dust.
