The Brownies – Busnessman

Inspired by the children's books "The Brownies" by Canadian illustrator and author, Palmer Cox - "The Businessman" is a character in the series. These books were based on elements from English traditional mythology and Scottish stories told to Cox by his grandmother. Brownies delighted in harmless pranks and helpful deeds. Their popularity led to Kodak's naming the "brownie camera" after them. Also they inspired the pre-Girl Scout group(Brownies) who fashioned their uniforms after them.
This little fellow is the "Brownie Businessman" who stands 9"tall. He is hand wrought from head to toe with great attention to the details of the original illustrations. He is made of wool and stuffed with sawdust.
