COFFEE TABLE-TRESTLE LEGS

Offering a Trestle Coffee Table, 16"w, 45 1/2"L, 19"H , all hand wrought. This table consists of a rectangular board placed atop two trestles. The trestles consist of vertical posts placed in the middle of horizontal pieces,forming the shape of a "T". There is a horizontal support connecting the legs. This was one of the first types of European tables, dating from the Middle Ages.  It is constructed of  barn wood with a "natural stain " on top and legs painted to add color and enhance the grain. The color is "Antique Ivory".
